I started CrossFit back in 2014 looking for a new challenge and a way to be healthier. What I found, and what keeps me coming back every day, is the community. I absolutely love that CrossFit is for everyone. There's nothing quite like the friendships that form when you get "tortured" together in a workout—and yet, you all still show up for more the next day!

I’ve been testing myself in the Open for nearly a decade (minus a year or two for having kids!), and I am always ready for a heavy deadlift. The squat clean has become a close second these days, which is funny because I used to hate it! As long as the workout doesn't involve running or burpees, I'm happy.

My passion for coaching comes directly from my love for this process. I love watching others progress with their movements, learn new skills, and find that "aha" moment. The best part of my job is getting to help people become healthier, fitter, and, most importantly, more confident in themselves.

When I’m not at the gym or at work (boo), you can almost always find me at a sporting event for one of my kiddos—Braxton, Saylor, or Journey. I love spending time outside with my family (which includes my husband and our two dogs, Niko and Huckleberry), whether we're paddle boarding, jumping in the lake, or huckleberry picking! Before CrossFit, my main sport was competitive soccer; I even played on the Olympic Development team for a few years when I was in middle school.
